Dr. Anne Kawamura is a developmental pediatrician at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and Head of the Division of Developmental Pediatrics at the University of Toronto. She is a graduate of the Education Scholars Program through the Centre for Faculty Development and completed her Master’s of Health Professions Education at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Health Professions Education Research at the University of Toronto. Her program of educational research focuses on the development of adaptive expertise in communication and how context shapes knowledge and understanding.
