Professional Bio
I am a fully qualified doctor in my home country, and currently a second-year PhD student in Medical Education at UNSW. I have always been interested in education and always have tried new ways to overcome the challenges not only for myself but also for my fellow students. Enrolling in a PhD in Medical Education was a long-time dream come true. During the past years, I have worked with prominent scholars and mobilised students by designing national-scale education contests. Currently, my PhD project is focused on self-regulated and self-directed learning in health professionals. The projects that I am currently involved in, as a part of my PhD, will address the challenges in developing lifelong learning, and by the end of my PhD I plan to adopt and adapt new educational practices which can promote self-directed learning abilities in students.
