Brea is a registered osteopath and Lecturer in the College of Sport, Health and Engineering. She is passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment that cultivates work-ready health professional graduates. Her research interest lies in the pedagogical development of diversity, equity and inclusivity curricula in health professional education and in exploring how educators can utilise innovative learning strategies to promote student engagement and enhance the student learning experience. She is currently undertaking a PhD with the Institute of Health and Sport at Victoria University that is focused on evaluating the current pedagogical practices in the design, development and implementation of cultural competency curriculum in Australian osteopathy and physiotherapy education.
