Professional Bio
Caroline is a registered radiation therapist, an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences at Monash University, and she also holds the position of Director of Education for the School of Primary and Allied Health Care. Caroline has extensive experience in health professions education (medical imaging and radiation sciences) including curriculum development, innovative pedagogical approaches, program evaluation and accreditation and has been responsible for developing courses from inception to delivery. Caroline is a mixed-methods and qualitative researcher and is a primary supervisor for seven Higher Research Degree students, a number of whom have been awarded grants and awards for their research. Caroline is a founding member of the Australian and New Zealand Medical Radiation Research Network and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice (UK) and Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (Canada). In 2018 Caroline was appointed by the Minister for Health to the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and is currently in her second term on the Board.
