Professional Bio
Catherine Hale, SFHEA, LLB (Hons), MSc, PGCE, Barrister at Law (Middle Temple), Mediator (CEDR accredited), is a Professor based in the Medical School at the University of Warwick, where she teaches medical law and ethics in both the Medical and Law School; she is also a Theme Lead on the MBChB; Academic Lead for postgraduate medicine learning development and is Warwick’s Course Director for the new online Masters degree in Medical Education which runs as a joint initiative between Warwick and the specialist online learning development company: Iheed. She is an influential legal and ethical expert on issues related to health care and medical law, particularly current ethical issues. As a regular speaker at external events and media commentator she has provided external lectures and commentary on key health care and legal issues.
