Edward Li received his Ph.D in Education - educational psychology and quantitative methods from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is passionate about using modern test theory to improve how assessments are designed and analysed, and experienced in identifying operational issues and providing and implementing strategies to resolve them. Before joining Pearson, he worked on large-scale K-12 tests and Australia National Assessment Program exams using both classic test theory and item response theory models. Since joining Pearson VUE, he has been working as lead psychometrician on a few large-scale certification programs, conducting psychometric analysis and research studies, and providing guidance on item development and test design for the existing and new exams.
