As a passionate advocate for excellence in Medical Education, Elena is a dedicated part-time PhD student on a transformative journey, delving deep into the realms of feedback practises and workplace-based assessment (WBA). Balancing the rigours of academia with active clinical engagement, Elena brings a wealth of expertise from the postgraduate sphere of Intensive Care and Interprofessional Education to the undergraduate world of Medical Education further enriched by her current role in online assessment delivery and part-time clinical work. Committed to advancing the field of Medical Education opportunities in undergraduate Med Ed contributing to the development of curricula that fostered well-rounded medical practitioners. She worked collaboratively with faculty and stakeholders to design innovative simulation and assessment experiences that integrated clinical expertise with theoretical foundations. This journey unveiled the paramount importance of effective feedback practises and comprehensive WBA, which now serve as her primary focus of research . Driven by an insatiable curiosity to elevate feedback practises and WBAs, Elena embarked on a part.time PhD journey. Her research endeavours seek to unravel novel strategies that align seamlessly with the evolving landscape of Medical Education.
