Fabian Dupont
Professional Bio
Fabian Dupont has been the project manager for research and teaching at the Center for General Medicine since August 2020. He completed his medical studies in Munich, Namur (Belgium), Lausanne (Switzerland), Madrid (Spain), Bristol (United Kingdom), Florida (USA), East & South Africa, and Wellington (New Zealand). He earned his doctorate at the Neuro-Head Center in Munich (TUM), as well as at the University of Florida (USA), Gulu University (Uganda), and the Institute of Public Health (ISP) in Brussels, Belgium. He completed his master's studies in Medical Education and Curriculum Management (MHPE) in Maastricht, Netherlands. In 2019, he won the WONCA VDGM Research Award for his teaching concept implemented in Homburg. He has also received the GMA Prize for Innovation in Medical Education. He is involved in various educational development projects in Germany. Mr. Dupont is on the board of the Young General Medicine Germany (JADE), the junior organization of the German Society of General Medicine (DEGAM), with a focus on international matters. He is an alumnus of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes), the Max Weber Program, and the Elite Network of Bavaria (Elitenetzwerk Bayern). In addition to his work in Saarland, he also practices clinically in inpatient internal medicine and outpatient general medicine as part of his fourth year of specialist training in general medicine.
