Dr. Silveira teaches psychology and professionalism at the University of San Paulo in Brazil. She translated the Professional Identity Essay (PIE) into Portuguese, created a longitudinal professionalism curriculum and helped develop an OSCE program at her institution. She has multiple publications and presented her work at national and international conferences.
