Dr Gerrard Phillips has been a Consultant Physician and Respiratory Physician for more than 20 years. From 2014-2017 he was the Royal College of Physicians, London, Vice President for Education and Training. During this time he contributed to national policy work on “Shape of Training” reforms and initiated and implemented the chief registrar programme. Dr Phillips has been the Executive Medical Director of the Federation of the three UK Physician Royal Colleges since 2018. He leads and guides overarching strategy and policy implementation across the organisation.
