Gil Myers was the deputy lead for assessment at University College London Medical school. He is involved with the design and delivery of all UCLMS assessments. He a member of the UK Medical School’s Council working group for MLA assessment and acts as external examiner in London, Wales and Singapore. He currently balances his medical education work with clinical practice, as consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist working in an Early Intervention Team in North London. He has been involved with General Medical Council Fitness to Practise tests of competence since 2011, and as a performance assessor since 2014. He has published on medical education topics and worked as editor for Oxford University Press textbooks.
