Professional Bio
Imogene's career in medical education spans over 20 years in institutions such as the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the University of Sydney Doctor of Medicine program and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Her professional roles have included academic roles in assessment at the primary degree and postgraduate levels in medical education, program evaluation of assessment programs and curricula renewal. She has also designed and delivered units of study in post-graduate health professional education programs focusing on assessment and program evaluation. Her primary research interests include contemporary models of validity and measurement theories to assessment and evaluation data and Realist approaches to program evaluation in complex educational contexts. Her PhD research combined all of these interests in a validity study of a medical student OSCE applying the many facet Rasch model.
