JOANNE ALFIERI, MMEd, MDCM, FRCPC is an Associate Professor & Associate Chair for Education in the Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology at McGill University. Dr. Alfieri practices as a radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of gynaecological and gastrointestinal malignancies at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). Her medical education interests include teaching innovation through the use of e-learning and virtual patients, and the motivation driving feedback-seeking behaviours of post-graduate trainees in the competency-based medical education era.
