Judy Kell

Professional Bio
Judy is an Education Focussed Lecturer and winner of the Faculty Award for Excellence in Educational Innovation in 2021. She has qualifications and over 30 years of experience in adult education (in both the tertiary sector and the corporate environment), staff/professional development (teaching and learning) and organisational capacity building. She is also an experienced qualified counsellor having worked at ACON (AIDS Council of NSW) and in private practice specialising in family and relationship therapy. Judy has also worked as a registered midwife in the NSW public hospital system so can bring this clinical experience to her work at UNSW. She manages UNSW Medicine's Clinical Mentoring Scheme and the Health 25 Strategy Mentoring Projects, has co-convened the Society and Health course and teaches in various courses in the Medicine program. She is a member of the Medicine Program Redesign Team with responsibility for student support, mentoring and coaching. She is an active member of ANZAHPE and manages the Hot Topic Action Group on Mentoring.
