Professional Bio
Dr. Dahlman is an educator and cancer biologist who has demonstrated educational leadership in curriculum and faculty development, foundational science integration, student assessment, and program evaluation. She earned her PhD in Cancer Biology from Vanderbilt University and completed her postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Currently, Dr. Dahlman is Co-Director of the 3rd and 4th year medical school curriculum (Immersion Phase) at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She has been recognized for her outstanding educational contributions by election to the Vanderbilt Academy for Excellence in Education and as President to the Association of Biochemistry Educators. She was awarded the Denis M. O’Day award for Team Implemented Curriculum from Vanderbilt and the Early Career Award for Excellence in Teaching and Innovation from the International Association of Medical Science Educators.
