Professional Bio
Salma Satchu is a pharmacist with over 25 years of clinical, educational, administrative, and leadership experience. She completed her pharmacy degree at the University of Toronto in 1996, followed by a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado in 2005. Salma currently works at the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada as Assistant Registrar and Manager of Qualifying Examinations, Part II (OSCE/OSPE) where she oversees content development and administrative aspects of the performance-based certification examinations for pharmacist and pharmacy technician candidates. Prior to coming to PEBC, Salma was a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at a large teaching hospital in Toronto, with a cross appointment as Adjunct Lecturer at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. Outside of work, Salma enjoys family time with her teenage twins and travel.
