Dr. Hogan is director, Outcomes Research and Evaluation at the ACGME. He is responsible for leadership for ACGME’s research and evaluation agenda with emphasis on understanding the impact of accreditation standards, the transitions between undergraduate medical education and graduate medical education and the transition into unsupervised practice. Prior to joining ACGME, Dr. Hogan had led research and evaluation studies at RTI International focused on health services delivery, physician practices, adoption of health information technology, and public health interventions for state and federal agencies. Dr. Hogan earned his master's degree and Ph.D. degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
