Sumathy M.K.
Ph.d. Scholar - The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research
Professional Bio
I am currently a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Medical Education, focusing on the implementation of simulation-based education for essential skills among undergraduate medical students. My journey began as a nurse, where I dedicated two years to the field. Following my post-graduation in medical-surgical nursing, I transitioned into a lecturer role, accumulating over 12 years of teaching experience. The art of curriculum development has always intrigued me, driving me to pursue a deeper understanding. Thus, I seized the opportunity to embark on a Ph.D. journey in medical education, aiming to contribute to the advancement of effective teaching methodologies.
