Tracy Mendolia is the Manager of 3D Educational Technology Innovations at the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning at Western University of Health Sciences. In her current position, Tracy leads and supports a team of educational innovators, managing a project pipeline consisting of artificial intelligence (AI), mixed reality (AR/VR/XR), mobile app development, 3D printing & digital rendering, and videography for educational learning experiences. She partners with faculty and subject matter experts on research for grants, publications, and presentations while staying abreast of innovative learning solutions. Tracy has presented at both national and international conferences from California-to-France and has produced multiple publications related to her research on the use of innovative educational technologies and pedagogy. Tracy is completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the Department of Learning Technologies at Toulouse Graduate College, University of North Texas, Denton. She holds a Master of Arts in Education (M.A. Ed.) with an emphasis on Educational Multimedia from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with an emphasis on Communications/Advertising from California State University, Fullerton. In her spare time, Tracy is involved in a variety of volunteer activities including being an active member of Kiwanis, and is a Girl Scout Leader of which she has led the troop for the last 11 years. In recognition of her volunteer and fundraising efforts, in 2012 Tracy received a Letter of Appreciation from the United States Coast Guard, one of the most notable honors a Civilian can receive.
