Professional Bio
Dr Vikki O’Neill is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Statistics at Queen's University Belfast. She has expertise in a wide range of statistical specialties, such as biostatistics, psychometrics and econometrics. She has a PhD in Advanced Discrete Choice Models. Dr O’Neill joined the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences in 2015, having previously worked in the School of Mathematics and Physics at Queen's University Belfast. Prior to this, she worked at the Medical Research Council (MRC) Biostatistics Unit in Cambridge. Having had the opportunity to work with people from a broad range of disciplines her research focuses on the development and application of quantitative methods. She is responsible for both lecturing and supervising research projects on variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, particularly those requiring statistics.
