Professional Bio

I am a Nurse Practitioners(NP) working in a hospital as a facilitator for the NP OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) simulation training program. My role involves creating teaching materials, training standardized patients, and participating in the OSCE simulation training program. My primary focus is on clinical teaching and physical assessment. As a facilitator, I guide and mentor other NP in conducting OSCE simulation training. This may include assisting in program design, identifying training objectives and content, and helping participants understand and apply clinical teaching and physical assessment skills. Additionally, I am responsible for training standardized patients. Standardized patients are specially trained actors who portray specific diseases or conditions, enabling participants to practice hands-on skills and assessments in simulated scenarios. The OSCE simulation training program is a method of assessing the clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals. By simulating real-life clinical scenarios, participants engage in physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment decision-making, while receiving evaluation and feedback. My work involves teaching, guiding, and training to help NP enhance their clinical skills and knowledge, ensuring their ability to apply what they have learned effectively in actual healthcare settings. This is crucial for delivering high-quality nursing care and has a significant impact on learning and professional development.
